iPad games: a drawing game to share
Bring the iPad to the table for a game that children and adults can make together. In Monster Maker, two or three players draw hidden parts of one creature. The bigger screen gives you room to draw, and the finished monster is something everyone can look at together.
Draw with a finger or Apple Pencil
A finger is all you need to start. On compatible iPads, you can also use Apple Pencil. Choose ink, pencil or crayon, change your colors, erase a mark or undo a stroke while you invent your part.
Start with a simple shape and add one unusual detail. A robot head, a fluffy body and tiny bird feet can belong to the same monster; nobody needs to draw the whole character in advance.
An iPad game for the family table
Choose two or three players and pass the iPad after each turn. Your drawing folds away before the next person starts. Three players take one part each; with two players, one person draws twice.
There is no score or timer. Let each player decide how much detail to add, and help younger children finish their turns when needed. Reveal the creature after the legs are done, then give it a name in the gallery.
Keep your monsters and draw from other devices
Completed monsters stay in your gallery so you can revisit and share them. With iCloud syncing, you can find your collection on your other devices too.
Shared-iPad games work offline after installation. If friends are elsewhere, use online invitations to take turns across iPad, iPhone and iPhone Duo. Online play and syncing need internet; current purchase requirements appear in the app.
